=============
Sir,
S.W.1.
On the 1st inst. I wrote you as follows:-
"With reference to my call of yesterday, I enclose copy of letter received from our New York office dated July 13th together with copies of the enclosures mentioned therein all relating to shipments of American Gold Coin from San Francisco to Hong Kong.
Your kind attention to this matter and early advice as to whether our Company in America may resume the handling of these shipments are respectfully requested",
and beg to state that up to date I have no record of having received your reply, neither has your acknowledgment of the receipt of my letter reached me.
Will you kindly advise if my letter with enclosures was received and when I may expect a reply.
OB/VB
Respectfully,
in
